Selection Criteria
Students applications are blindly reviewed by three separate USC staff members, and are given an overall average rank based on responses to the following selection criteria.
Provide an overview of your understanding of the conference theme and why you are interested in attending

Describe how the conference is relevant to your studies, and how you think your participation will contribute to your employability

Demonstrate why you would be a suitable candidate to represent UniSC at the conference

Demonstrate your co-curricular and volunteer contributions to UniSC and/or the community

Must notify the University of any change to information provided in the application form,

USC Student Charter
and relevant policies that guide student conduct,
Understand that students are responsible for organising their own Visa for travel and this may not be available for international students returning to their home country,
Respect the rules and customs of the host organisation and community,
Adhere to all local laws and penalties of the host country,
Understand that the conference must not conflict with my academic studies, and I must manage any absences from classes and inform the appropriate academic staff,
Am responsible for any assessment deadlines during time away,
Must submit a Conference Activity report within two weeks of your return – a link will be supplied to successful students,
Agree to allow USC to use your report and/or photographs for internal reporting and marketing material.
